Project— Lion King Tshirt artwork

Scope—

The task was simply to create a tshirt design for a Lion King based children’s theater camp.

I incorporated some of the African lyrics from the play, along with the play’s general ‘REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE’ theme. I found some public domain Lion King character images, turned them into silhouettes, brought in some African block type patterns, and put it all together for a cohesive compelling tshirt design.

I find that often the children appreciate a slightly more sophisticated design than one might traditionally expect.
